Eriko Yamaguchi Animal Pouch Sweepstakes Rules
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Void where prohibited.
2. SPONSOR
The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Motherhouse, d/b/a Eriko Yamaguchi Co. (“Sponsor”), 12819 Main St., Los Angeles, CA 90061, United States.
3. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD
The Eriko Yamaguchi Animal Pouch Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins on March 19, 2026 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on April 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT (“Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
4. ELIGIBILITY
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win.
The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
5. HOW TO ENTER
During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.erikoyamaguchi.co and complete and submit the official online entry form.
Limit one (1) entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period. Multiple entries from the same person will be void. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means are void.
Standard internet access and data charges may apply.
No other method of entry will be accepted.
6. WINNER SELECTION
On or about April 17, 2026, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period to select one (1) potential winner.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
The potential winner will be notified by email on or about April 20, 2026.
The potential winner must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of notification. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
The potential winner may be required to complete and electronically sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where lawful) Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification.
If the potential winner:

cannot be contacted,

fails to respond in time,
-
is ineligible,
-
fails to complete required documents, or
-
otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules,
the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Sponsor is not required to select more than one alternate winner.
8. PRIZE
One (1) prize will be awarded:

One (1) Eriko Yamaguchi Penguin Pouch.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $80.00
Total ARV of all prizes: $80.00.
Prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes (if any). A Form 1099 will not be issued unless required by law.
9. PUBLICITY AND PHOTO REQUIREMENT
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes winner’s consent for Sponsor to use winner’s name and city/state of residence for promotional purposes without further compensation.
In addition, Sponsor may invite the winner to share a photograph of themselves with the Prize. The winner may choose one of the following options:
Option A – Direct Submission:
Winner may provide Sponsor with a digital photograph of themselves with the Prize.
Option B – Instagram Post:
Winner may post a photograph of themselves with the Prize to their public Instagram account and tag @ErikoYamaguchi.
By either (i) submitting a photograph directly to Sponsor or (ii) posting and tagging Sponsor on Instagram, winner grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to repost, share, display, and use the photograph for promotional and marketing purposes in any media, including social media, without additional compensation.
Winner represents and warrants that:

The photograph is original;

Winner owns the rights to the photograph; and
-
The photograph does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Participation in this photo sharing opportunity is voluntary and is not required to receive the Prize.
10. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents (“Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize.
Released Parties are not responsible for:

lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or damaged entries;

technical failures of any kind;
-
unauthorized human intervention;
-
errors in administration of the Sweepstakes; or
-
injury or damage resulting from participation.
Nothing in these Official Rules excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. CALIFORNIA RELEASE (CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS)
California residents hereby waive the provisions of California Civil Code §1542, which states:
“A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”
Entrants acknowledge that they may later discover claims currently unknown or unsuspected and nevertheless waive such claims to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, all disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and entrants consent to jurisdiction therein.
Entrants waive any right to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, and any right to attorneys’ fees, except where prohibited by law.
13. PRIVACY
Information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy available at https://erikoyamaguchi.co/policies/privacy-policy.
14. INSTAGRAM DISCLAIMER
This Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, you release Instagram from any liability related to this Sweepstakes.
15. WINNER LIST
For the name of the winner, send an email request to customer.us@erikoyamaguchi.jp after April 27, 2026 and no later than May 1, 2026.
